Toothly TriviaToothly Trivia! will be a new opportunity for patients to earn some extra Heintz bucks for themselves each month. Each month, we will change the question and post it here on the website. All of the answers to the trivia questions can be found somewhere on the website and when you find the answer all you have to do is click on it, and it will automatically pop up to send us an email. In the email, please include your name and your correct answer. We will accept answers from the first 10 patients to answer correctly. We will then send you a reply to let you know that you are one of the first ten to answer! All correct answers must be submitted by the 28th of each month. If your answer is correct and one of the first ten that we receive, a note will be made in your chart and you will receive 5 extra Heintz bucks at your next visit! So, stay tuned for our upcoming trivia questions, don't forget to put on those thinking caps, and please be quick with your answers!!! The February question is "True or False, Research has shown that proper flossing can also reduce the risk of heart disease in addition to it's oral health benefits." Guess the CandyFor Valentines Day, we had a jar at the front desk full of candy and the patient to guess closest to the correct amount without going over was the winner and, WE HAVE A WINNER!! Our patient, Christian, came in and used some pretty skillful math formulas (and a calculator) to arrive at his guess of 214 pieces of candy. And what an amazing guess, since there were actually 215 pieces of candy in the jar! Good job Christian! His awesome guessing skills won for him a heart shaped box of chocolates, a $10 gift card to Target and a $10 gift card to Bath and Body Works. Pretty impressive guessing skills, Christian. Congratulations!! For the month of February, we will have a jar of candy at the front desk. Before you leave the office, don't forget to make your best guess at how much candy is in the jar! The patient who guesses closest to the correct amount without going over will win a special prize! REDruaryIn honor of Valentines day, at Heintz orthodontics, the month of February will be known as REDruary. Throughout the month, we will donate a dollar to the American Red Cross for each patient who chooses to get red (or pink and red) colors on their braces. For our patients who are not in metal braces (invisalign, appliances, etc), we ask that you show your support by wearing red on the day of your appointment and we will donate a dollar for that, as well. The American Red Cross is the nation's premier emergency response organization offering many volunteer services all focused on preventing and relieving suffering. We feel that it is an amazing and all-encompassing organization that will put our donations to good use for helping others. Happy Valentines Day and thank you, in advance, for your efforts. This February, we would like to recognize our patient of the month, Chrysa. Chrysa is a very busy sophomore. She is a straight A honor student and is also vice president of her class. She is also preparing to head to Italy with her academic club this summer. In addition to her dedication to school, Chrysa is a state qualifier in cheerleading and is in concert choir. We, at Heintz Orthodontics, also know that Chrysa places great importance in her orthodontic treatment. She is one of our Invisalign patients and is moving through treatment fantastically. Chrysa is a great example that when you dedicate yourself to your orthodontic treatment, just as you would with any other activity, you can achieve amazing results. Good luck at state, Chrysa, and good job with your Invisalign. We are proud of you!!!
